Milton Country Park

This place has everything your family needs for a fun day out. This natural habitat of woodlands, lakes, pathways, multiple playgrounds and café has plenty of dog walking routes both on and off the lead. 

Throughout the year you’ll find an abundance of seasonal wildlife. So whether you’re walking through the morning mists of winter, or looking over the river as the summer sun reflects off of it, this is a sight you don’t want to miss. 

“Overall it was a nice walk. It was very muddy but we expected that so we didn’t mind too much. There is a dedicated area where dogs are allowed to be off-lead. We went when it was raining so it was pretty quiet, but I imagine it’s very busy with people, children, and dogs on a nice day! Magog Down

Let your dog roam free around the outer perimeter of these beautiful fields. Found just outside the centre of Cambridge, Magog Down provides a great setting for a new adventure. Take your pick of a walk up North Down for a view of Cambridge from afar, or a variety of wooded areas. You can even take advantage of two designated exercise areas where you and your dog can work on some off-lead training, or just run about together.

“Great dog walk if you get on with other dogs. Takes about 45 mins to an hour for the circuit, and there are dog parks where your dog can play. Plenty of secure spots for off-lead walking but some areas are less secure or require a lead so make sure you have it to hand.” – K9 Nation customer

Granchester Meadows

Get infatuated with the Cambridge wilderness and strut your way across the amazing Grantchester Meadows. With an option to walk either down the hard path or on the meadow along the river, you can decide how adventurous you want to be. 

Pups should be on leads throughout the walk, although if they fancy a quick dip in the river, it’s not a problem to take them off.
